Cairo Innovates aims to stimulate scientific innovation in Egypt through creating a hub that excites people about science and research, connects innovators to enablers and key stakeholders, and allows local innovators to exhibit and commercialize their inventions. The two days event includes sessions, workshops, competitions, panels, and inspiring stories of rising talents.
A total of 20 S&T outcomes from 13 Chinese universities, research institutions and enterprises were exhibited on the 5th Cairo Innovates, covering IT, photovoltaic power generation, water-saving irrigation, medical & health care and other key areas.

SRP representative was accepting an interview with Xinhua News Agency.
In respond to the Belt and Road initiative, SRP has been devoted to building Digital Silk Road between China and countries along the Belt and Road and realizing cross-border trade interconnectivity. This is the 2nd year for SRP to participate in the Cairo Innovates since 2017.
